Why not flying the Dakota? ZA947 is still hidden away in one of the ARCo hangars at Duxford going through very drawn-out maintenance work. However, as they have done for previous winters, one of the Aerolegends Dakotas (this year N473DC ‘Drag ’em Oot’ ) is overwintering at Coningsby and will be use...

Re: Current aircraft being restored to flight

Lynx restorations seem to be very fashionable - this is taken from the Gazelle Squadron's "Lynx Flight" page on their website: In the summer of 2022, Falcon Aviation, bought Lynx AH7 XZ 678 with the aim of returning it to the skies in 2023. If you're interested in the progress of the rest...

The first comment from the Gazelle Squadron on the matter, from their website... Some of you may be aware that during the latter part of 2024 we managed to secure access to a few more aircraft, once fully certified we hope these will serve to prolong yet further the legacy of the Gazelle helicopter....

The collection aircraft due to fly at this year's shows have been added to the Shuttleworth website. The Southern Martlet, Blackburn B2 and EE Wren are all due to return to display flying after being rested in 2024. Hopefully the weather might cooperate this year and give a few more opportunities to...

73-1586 is still at Mildenhall, should anyone be interested.
Can you see it from Pollard's Lane or do you need a tall ladder to look along the Hercules ramp?
It's parked on the north side of the runway, near to the tower - Pollard's Lane should do the trick.
