Re: Royal International Air Tattoo 2025 Wishlist:

Hey all, What do we think the likelihood of one of the new RAF E7 Wedgetail appearing? Seen the first airframe has had it's first flight and painted, so they are maybe chucking all the equipment inside of it now? So it could be a possibility maybe for static, solo flyby or with the Reds? Maybe the ...

Re: RIAT 2025

I don't know what my personal limit would be for Riat. But there is nothing else like this really, at the same scale. There are some big ones in Europe but going there would surely either cost similar at best or more. Having the 'best' and 'biggest' military airshow just 'round the corner' means I w...

Thanks for all the comments regarding these programs. I was curious after hearing these rumbles from an active serving member. I completely get where a few of you are coming from with your thoughts.

Re: Midlands Air Festival 2025 30th May - 1st June 2025

Can't be many other privately owned flying Cobra's? Wary of thread drift, but there are quite a few in the States (I believe that the Army flying museum in Georgia alone practically has a squadron of them!), but not too many elsewhere. There is a more authentic-looking one flying in the Czech Repub...

That is a big announcement! I have seen that the Flying Bull Cobra goes to a few shows in Europe and wondered if it would ever come over here. Very rare and unique display. Can't be many other privately owned flying Cobra's?

Re: Nellis Aviation Nation 2025 - April 5/6th 2025

No idea if it is any different, but when I went to Miramar last year we didn't show a ticket until we had to go into our enclosure bit. Didn't show a ticket when entering the base or when going through security. Also I am very jealous! I have been looking that this one debating just popping over to ...

Re: Interesting Internet

I've always wondered what current or ex members of the armed forces make of these kind of series. I remember watching a few of the warship ones, which I enjoyed. Then someone at my work who knows a current member of the Navy said that he apparently cannot stand the programs. Wonder if current RAF pe...

Thanks for all of your replies. I read that although they are at the end of their life spans, both the Fitters and Fulcrums are still hanging around for a couple of years. Like you all said, it doesn't mean they are going to be active at all. I just thought if, a big IF, they get announced in some f...

Vulcan - Southend

Just looking for a bit of info ... For a Christmas present I have a VIP tour of the Vulcan at Southend. Really looking forward to seeing such a legendary aircraft up close. I am also looking to get tickets for the first fast taxi run of the year in May. Does anyone know when the tickets are likely t...

I know it was mentioned in earlier earlier posts on here. But with the New Zealand 757s up for replacement it would be great to get them one more time. Thank you both for the info. I'll keep a look out to see if the display location changes, looks to be roughly where the aquarium is. I am looking at going to this later on in the year. Randomly my girlfriend suggested going to Malta on a holiday so I have managed to swing it to go in September around the 28-29th ... genius I know. Has anyone been before and have any tips or info regarding the show? Never been and not really seen ...
