Very good first day!

Loved the F18, Danish F16 and the Blackhawk alot. Also the B17 was awesome!

Only problem were the rediculous lines on the way out to parking B. Took us around 2 hours to get there, but that didn't spoil the fun!

First time attending saturday aswell as sunday this year. How do traffic/parking/lines at the shuttle busses on saturday generally compare to sunday? Asking so i can plan out my day in time!

So by the looks of it; They added the Danish F16 and the Finnish F18 (awesome, love it)

But sadly the A-400, C-130, Spitfire and Hurricane were taken off the sunset programme.

Does look like a strong sunset show to me tho!

On sunday the programme shows the Polish M-346 Bielik flown by Major Robert Gel.
Sadly today his M-346 crashed into the runway during a rehearsal demonstration, and he did not survive the accident.

Can we expect more afterburners on the saturday sunset schedule? Right now only one of the five fighters is flying on saturday. I was also hoping for an F-16, due to the F-16 celebration.

Off: I hope the Turkish Stars weren't on the roster, since one of their jets crashed during training today. Luckily the pilot safely ejected from the aircraft.

I still look back at two amazing days, besides traffic jams and long waiting lines. The show was great! But something stuck to me, when the Belgian commentator ended sunday with something along the lines of: "The future of Belgian airshows is not looking great, and we are not sure if the Belgia...

Day one over and done with. A hot but very enjoyable day, I've never seen the Spotters Day so busy. Only negatives today were getting in and fluids. The entrance was a chaotic joke, it's a spotters day of course people will have bags - so why only have 2 lanes for bags and an open area for non bags...

There will be three waterpoints to fill up bottles. Also free water bottles or only that? AFAIK that is it. And only once the temperature goes over 27 degrees. They remain inaccessible before that. That's going to be one hell of a sight when the temperature hits 27 in the morning then. :sweat_smile:

So, around 30 degrees celcius with full blazing sun is expected for both saturday and sunday. Yet the website policy says only a small bottle of water will be allowed. Can we expect anything regards to free water around the airfield? If not, i feel like this might become Radom 2.0.

I doubt the cancellations will amount to many gaps. Stop worrying about things beyond your control and just enjoy what is on offer.

Well i don't know, but with those 4 cancelled without replacements, you are talking about 50 mins - 1 hour of cancelled demo's right?

With the Midnight Hawks, Heritage flight, P-51 demo and the Wingwalkers all cancelled, will we see more replacements besides Patrouille Tranchant? Or will there just be more gaps, breaks and an earlier end to the show? Not alot of time left to find anything by now.

Things move fast in the final days before the show. Ongoing technical woes with their Hawk fleet has led to the cancellation of the Finnish air force Midnight Hawks. You will appreciate that losing a national display team is a big blow, you can't just pull a replacement out of the bag. Still, hopef...
