Re: International Sanicole Airshow, 21 & 22 September 2024 [BE]

Re: Airpower24 - Zeltweg, Austria

My first Airpower, and loved it , agree with previous comments - actually left before the Argonauts each day cause saw the rehearsals and just 'no!' we weren't there for that. It was great to be able to go 'air-side' for the spotter locations, this was a first for me and loved it and the standard sh...

We'll be given lanyard passes for the spotter tickets, so it'll presumably have the wi-fi details on there.

Re: Airpower24 - Zeltweg, Austria

Hi - can I ask a question of previous attendees please - I've registered for spotters tickets, and had them sent through this week, all looking good, but I noticed on the subject of wi-fi the safety document pdf states; "On the subscription page, enter your user name and your password. You find...

Simultaneous video?

I am really just starting out in taking the aviation photography more seriously, but would still like to capture some video of the aircraft manouvres - am thinking of mounting a camera or probably mobile phone in video mode on top of camera flash shoe and just leaving it running in record mode (on q...

I cannot see this event listed so starting a new topic, apologies if it is there and I missed it. I am travelling through France on 1st September and thought to go to Cambrai (https://meeting-aerien-cambrai.fr/programme/) before crossing channel, but am only really interested in Patrouille France an...

Re: Blackpool Airshow 2024

Sorry to hear that. Hoping the organisers have an alternative area for viewing? Remembering the number of people who'll be there...? I believe a woman fell through the floorboards - if correct I suspect it will be closed for a while whilst structural checks are concluded, - although the photo seems...

Re: International Sanicole Airshow, 21 & 22 September 2024 [BE]

This will be my first year at Sanicole, signed up for both Saturday evening and Sunday, the Sunday looks great mix but I must confess I am a little disappointed there are not more jets out for the SAturday evening show - just Typhoon and Patrouille Suisse. Not that I don't like turbo-props (and glid...

There isn't a "like" feautere on here so fas as I can see so let me say thank you all for the feedback . Yes I think I take the point onthe subscrip[tion model but it just doesn't it well with me and I would not update software often enough to make it pay. I am happy upgrading only when I ...

Re: Noise reduction options for Aviation photography

will test this evening, I was going to upgrade my PC next year - if this is _REALLY_ slow it may put the whole plan on hold until I get new PC Update - well tried 3 or 4 files, with Dxo raw4 trial, probably took an average of 5-8 minutes each, lovely results. tried trial of On1 nonoiseAI - first of...

Re: Noise reduction options for Aviation photography

Not a direct answer to your question but make certain that your PC / graphics card is properly supported and can run an AI denoise function at an acceptable speed and without frying itself! My initial experience was with Lightroom and a free trial of DxO on a PC which seemed more than adequate for ...
