Re: A.net changed? You're 'avvin a larf guvnor
One observation which perhaps hasn't been addressed. A number of anet screeners are members of Air Team Images which is a commercial photography. Surely there is a conflict in interest in screening photos on anet where one be more favourable to fellow associates from Air Team Images than non-associ...

Jen,
There is something about that BBMF over the water, cracking shot.
The Pawnee and second Hurribomber are also rather lovely.
A great set from a great location

Re: Surprise visitors @ Warton 7th August
Neil,
It was indeed a day for some nice visitors at Warton on Friday, shame the Puma did not come our way but to be honest with you I never expected the Apaches to depart as they did.
From my shots the middle Apache was ZJ190
Cheers

Re: Old Warden Military Pageant 2009 pics
A fine set Mr B You can add me to the list of Old Warden cherry poppers last Sunday, seems I picked a very good one for my first time, certainly wont be my last as it was a superb show and well worth waiting around at the end. This and Legends are probably the two shows (Windemere Vulcan aside) that...

Paul,
That looks like it was a great experience to have been part of, the shots are rather splendid also mate, particularly the last few of the balloons airborne.
Where is the next one, even I might be interested.
Cheers

Re: CQWI 2009
These can't have been taken in the UK during July surely........ Another fine set mate, you certainly made the right choice to head north instead of RIAT arrivals, great access and great results but just where did all that sunlight come from? GR4 079 rotating with the moisture evapourating from the ...

Geoffrey, The first couple of Hip shots are nice considering the light (or lack of) mate, the A109 shots are superb our kid, amazing what a difference that yellow thing in the sky makes, sunshine and a treeline backdrop are the perfect combination IMO Looks like you are getting on with the new toy o...

Crizz,
Shots two and five are very nice, Polish F16's are certainly much more interesting to look at then any other examples in service in Europe.
Cheers

Thanks for all the kind comments chaps, its much appreciated
Martin,
Not really mate, 400mm was much better for more or less the whole display in my opinion, maybe one pass where she may have filled at around 300mm briefly

The Vulcan lowfly show - Windemere 2009
Morning All, Well the line up for Saturday at Windemere this year was thin to say the least but I think everybody was there in the hope of seeing a very special lady down low in the weeds, the other participants were too far away even when shooting with a 300mm lens and 1.4 converter, way too much c...

No mate, the first 24 RSAF Typhoons are from the early RAF allocation of Block 8 (Tranche 2) jets and are thought to be more or less identical to the T3/FGR4 RAF jets but those are RAF designatio...
