Re: Thunderbirds opinions
I thought they were pretty good. First time I've seen them since the last time they were over. My brother and his wife who hadn't seen them before, were quite impressed.

Re: Greatest random sightings?.
I don't post on here very often but thought I would add a couple of reminisces. On holiday visiting Grandparents in Cumbria in the late 80s. Walking up Wasdale head and being dive bombed by what appeared to be a squadron of A-10's. Probably the same visit in Grassmere hotel where 5 or 6 Hercules fle...

Re: RAF BBMF To Host Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum Lanca
There's plenty of video footage out there from shows in North America showing the Canadian Lancaster in formation, often with multiple others. This one is a good example... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nM2ZQj6YjiA Let's take it at face value though - thinking back to other formations, like the Ea...

Re: RAF BBMF To Host Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum Lanca
I'm sorry, maybe I'm just thick. But there is a big difference between the Canadian Lancaster and the static exhibit at Hendon. Having both the bbmf example on the ground at the same time is an event in itself. It's not that difficult to comprehend.

Re: RAF BBMF To Host Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum Lanca
I don't post on here very often, but I can see exactly where Dan is coming from. I think the powers that be have underestimated the popularity of the visiting aircraft. How someone can say "Go to Hendon" to see a Lancaster on the ground in this thread I don't know. For around a month, we w...

Re: RAF BBMF To Host Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum Lanca
I don't post here often. But due to work commitments I can't get to Waddington today, even though I'm not far away in Spalding. I was going to go to Little Gransden, but now thats sold out. I'm hedging my bets on Duxford now, but with a heavily pregnant partner, don't think thats going to happen eit...

Spalding to Waddington
Hello,
I don't post very often on here. Was wondering if any of the Spalding area forum members are going to the show tomorrow, and they were could I scrounge a lift. Fuel money will be in hand!
Thanks
John
