I'm just going by what they put on their facebook page... They talk about a series of flights so maybe they don't expect it all to go "according to plan"!!!!

Re: TR-1/U-2 Patch Value/Age

I think Doughnut is right. I'm pretty sure that this is an 'airshow' back patch produced by Terrane back in the early 90's. Terrane did a lot of work for the TR-1's at Alconbury back then. This was probably made for an Alconbury / Mildenhall airshow.

Re: Bruntingthorpe Closure?

Based on statements that have emerged over the past couple of days, the TBAG group is moving to Kemble, David Walton is trying to put up buildings to house aircraft next to the 'Q' shed, just outside of the airfield (he owns the Comet, Nimrod and Victor) and the VC10s have been asked to leave by Oc...

Slide scanner advice

Hello, Can anyone recommend a slide scanner for me? I don’t want something that costs thousands.... and it doesn’t need to be capable of producing an A0 print. I’d just like a reasonably priced scanner so I can view slides on the computer and have a few albums / photo books produced. I quite like th...

Do you have any idea what apex of the US you'd like to visit / what do you want to see? I find the US such a vast country that there can be significant variations along the way. What do you want to see / whats your area of interest?

Re: What do the Red Arrows do this year?

I really don't understand why people think its at all sensible to send them back to other squadrons. Firstly, they don't have 'there' squadron to go back too. 'Their' squadron is the Red Arrows'... And to think that in 5 months time, the reds will be getting ready to start their winter training for ...

Re: Really sad no big Lincolnshire airshows

Can we please dispel the myth that Scampton failed because of poor infrastructure? No one who went to Scampton had a poor experience because of the infrastructure. Scampton failed because it didn't sell enough tickets, and this was largely because it was over priced and being run by people who think...

Re: NAS Whidbey Island July 19.

Very good, and I agree with the comment about the watermark it does spoil the images, but then if he's in anyway concerned about his photos being used without his permission (which I assume he is) then it needs to be obtrusive. If he was to put it in the sky for instance then it would be very easy ...

Re: Polish AF Mig 29s

Information about 20% F-16 is not a true, I don't know if it's a part of election campaign to create fake news or just a mistake, but for sure much more F-16s is flying at Krzesiny and Łask air bases. Yes, but the fact that more than 20% of the F16’s are flying, doesn't necessarily mean that they a...
