Re: RIAT 2024 wishlist.

We must be overdue a visit from Green March. I saw them at Toulouse in 2022 and thought they were excellent. The CN235 support aircraft was a nice bonus too.

Woke up this morning in a good mood and thought it would be great to have a Juno from Shawbury and a Texan from Valley.

Re: Cosford Airshow 2024 - 9th June 2024

It wouldn’t be great, bearing in mind the layout at Cosford (a relatively short public crowdline and dense area behind it) only a relatively few at the front would be able to see it.

Re: Interesting Internet

There is a precedent for this, as they named the F-16 ‘Jastrząb’ (Goshawk) and M.346 ‘Bielik’ (white-tailed eagle) in Polish service.

I wonder what the Polish is for ‘slug’?

The Olympics don’t start until almost 2 months later, at the end of July.

Re: RIAT 2024 - discuss most things thread

According to stagger in the La Ferté-Alais thread, the French Navy have supposedly officially confirmed they'll not be supporting any airshows domestic or overseas (they're not even attending NTM). That sucks. (I also should be a bit more cautious posting this info here too as I know this is how Ch...

I still dont understand why the Polish Air Force is so reluctant to showcase their sovet-era aircraft at airshows, especially considering that they will be retired soon. If last year’s Radom airshow is anything to go by, they are sending a very clear message to Russia, regarding both aircraft and m...

The costs of putting a type that has been out of production for 5+ years back into production for just a handful of orders would surely make the Wildcat an unviable proposition. Especially as t...
