Website updated with two Lockheeds:
Lockheed P-3C Orion, MFG3, German Navy
Lockheed CC-130J Hercules, 436 Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Force
Blimey, any P-3C would be good. The German Navy variant is an amazing addition.

The Canadian Hercules is always a very welcome addition.

and against a background of price rises I find it 'interesting' the organization think paying someone to do things like this is useful. I'm sure some of the younger folk will tell me its vital to reach young people- maybe? I'm too old to care- nor on any social media to see it ! I doubt price rises...

As said by the others. Fantastic event all round. What an array of aircraft, from large transports and AAC helicopters. The Irish PC12 special scheme. The Whirlwind and Hurricane, with added re-enactors. Also the 32 Squadron A109. Thank you to the volunteers and everyone else involved. A great night...

Re: FIA 2020 Participants

Never had any issues getting trade day tickets for 20 years. Personally I like that it is trade only days, it has been a long time coming. When thinking of coming accept the flying is a small part of the event and is not there to entertain you, its there to sell aircraft. Same with the static posit...

Re: Underwing civvy reg

I think that some, if not all American aircraft and German aircraft do not carry registrations under the wing. Most other civil operators into LHR do carry an under wing registration. The port or starboard wing point, I couldn't say for sure.

There was talk in 2005 or 2006 of Tomcats at RIAT, rumour only, but it seemed to have some "legs" to it.....pity I wanted wings.

Re: June 3rd - Fly Navy III

Morane Saulnier is on the list, but wasn't it this aircraft that landed on a Sidmouth beach! Or am I confused? That's like saying there's a Hawker or a Boeing or a Lockheed on the list- there's a lot of Morane Saulnier types around- TypeN, 406, 505, 230, 315, Paris, Alcyon, Rallye etc etc... Thanks...

I would like to thank Phil and the Station team for another great event. It was sad to hear about the non-running of engines at this event. However, as a someone who has been to nearly all these events any change to the way the event is structured is an opportunity to experiment with a different com...

I was looking at the FAQs earlier, as I needed some information. There's a small piece of information in-relation to the flying display, which you may find interesting: We are now in the full throes of organising the exciting 2018 show. Centred around the theme of ‘Pioneers Of The Sky’ there will b...

Erm I think you'll find that the birds have been there since at least 1977 in fact I believe they originated from there when a freight train derailed between Mottingham and Lee stations ,the loco rolled down an embankment and demolished an aviary in someone's back garden containing said birds, soon ...

One question by the OP not clearly answered in the replies above is why the P&V's don't appear on the showground map. The showground maps are for the show days and P&V only operates on arrivals and departures days. Friday used to be an arrivals and practice day in years (decades) gone by, an...

Anything from the French military is always welcome. However, the old adage is until "le wheels" touch the tarmac it I don't believe it! The last Northolt was the exception, 99.9% of those items invited turned up. I am not that lucky twice in a row. Something won't show, but you never know...
