Re: Season Premiere - 11th May

What percentage chance is there typically of the Edwardians flying on any given Shuttleworth day? I see them on the line up, but I also understand the weather requirements are extremely substantial As you say, it depends entirely on the weather Last season I think I'm right in saying they managed o...

Re: Season Premiere - 11th May

Looking a great start to the season at Shuttleworth, especially if it's your first time.

One of the most chilled airshows i've ever been to and the divs seem to stay away, well with the exception of me.. :D

Re: RIAT 2025

Great announcement today, the last time the Freece were over I had to leave just before they displayed due to my lad being sick. I saw them as we were leaving the showground but had to concentrate on driving... Hopefully we'll be a little bit luckier this year.

Re: XR724 Night Shoot

Lovely stuff, the last shot is an absolute belter.

Unfortunately this just came at the wrong time for me as i was up in Tattershall on the Monday for a break away with the kids so could justify 2 longs journeys in such a short space of time. But next time.. :D

The Cobra has really swung it for me, i take it there's no member discount now on airshows ? or am i just being thick.

Bodz, if it's your first time to OW, then you're gonna love it bud, and you'll be back for more. A very addictive experience and location.😉 Without doubt the best airshow venue in the UK by a country mile. Just before COVID i was getting a bit bored to be honest, once they opened up the Drive In ai...

Feel like Shuttleworth are really pushing the boat out for their shows now, it certainly did feel a bit stale but perhaps that's just recovering from COVID etc...

This one really is shaping up nicely...

Re: Northolt Night Photoshoot XXXII Thursday 6th March 2025

The pilot explained to a few of the gathered photographers that he had "period dress" with him that would have been worn whilst ferrying an executive passenger around in the late 50's. The consensus was it would be well received as long as the hi-viz was ditched! Oh thats class, great to ...
