Re: RIAT 2024 - discuss most things thread
Haven't been to RIAT for a few years now due to the distance required to travel since moving. Thought I might go and do P&V Weds/Thurs this year only to see they have sold out already?! How quickly did that happen? Any idea if there will be a release of further tickets or is that it?

Re: Security
Didn't go this year myself (haven't been for a couple of years now) but the security checks and wait to get in to RIAT have always been long. It's nothing new. If you get there early enough and get in the queue you don't have a problem. Prior to a few years back I had been going every year for 10+ y...

Seems to be some more 'drama' today with Aviation in Action getting shirty that BJTV has gone to Coningsby despite AiA 'announcing' their intention to stream from there a few days ago. AiA has since gone to Luton instead! Now, without getting into a 'who is better' debate, I don't think ...

Uniden Bearcat 780XLT 500 Channel Scanner Receiver The resistor for the LCD went a while back, and an electrical engineer fitted a potentiometer in the unit for me. TR-1/U-2 Patch Value/Age
Found the following patch in a bunch of stuff I have. The main "patch" is printed on the yellow fabric and then stitched/embroidered around the edges. Can't find anything online similar. Anyone able to help with value (if any) and ID/Useage? https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50020270698_...
