Re: Indra Dhanush 2007

What an exercise that was, and brilliantly photographed !

I am probably the only one, especially with these particular visitors, thinking..... F.3s, how I MISS them.

Dear Stagger2, your attitude is everything I hate about what this great forum has (sometimes) become. If you don't want to help that's fine, but why announce the fact so vociferously. If you've nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Re: A day at Davis Monthan AFB (A-10s)

Fantastic set of images, especially the A-10s. How I miss these stunning aircraft.

I haven't checked yet, but some of these aircraft registrations seem familiar, I wonder if some are the ones based at Alconbury, Woodbridge etc. back in the day.

Anyway, loved them all, thanks for sharing.

Re: Moro's last flight RIAT 2019

Have to say this is my pick of the RIAT selections so far this year.

Hard to say why, just really appeals. Nice to see the pilots in their 'natural' state, lovely.

Good job Nick.

Re: Birmingham Airport Parking rip off

Airport Parking is definitely becoming an expensive business. I'm not even sure booking very early (if you can) saves you much. Best Airport I use is East Midlands. I got 5 days at £45. When booking I always add on as much time to my return time as I can before the price goes up a level. Worth a try...

I heard a similar reason to that EGLL mentioned... environmentalists complaining. Will have a look tonight to see if that is the case.

What a shame... I was really looking forward to these flights :-(

Re: Is anybody happy with the Brexit white paper?

As I watch the D-Day commemorations, I wonder why a key nation in the Europe it helped defend, then rebuild, would want to leave and tear it all apart.

Makes me very sad.

Ok, back to the intelligent comments.

Re: Deutsches Technikmuseum & Tempelhof, Berlin - March 2019

Visited both last year, very interesting. My observations.... 1) The platform leading to the C-47 at the Museum is see thru towards it's edge, I nearly had a fit when I looked down and saw the street miles (well, a few feet) below. Very nice restaurant there too with trad German cuisine. 2) Well don...

Wonderful photographs.

Am I right in thinking there is one more scheme to come ?

I've also read this may be the last re-paint for these B74s before they end their illustrious careers ?

Thanks for sharing.

The negative comments about the Reds I just don’t understand, no one seems to be complaining about the F-35 going off to display... and I really can’t see what makes Frecce so good yet Reds so boring, if anything I thought RAFAT on Sunday were neater. I imagine that a part of it is familiarity bree...

I am a very mild mannered guy and understand there are a multitude of reasons why things are as they are. I can accept pretty much everything has a reason and have trust in DBF that they will do what they can to make RIAT a great experience for everyone.. BUT... (Sorry, meant to say 'However' , 'but...
