Re: End of Typhoon Blackjack?

JMC, It will be back next year. As for its future when the on/off/on....? Retirement of the Tranche 1s happens. If they don't RTP all of them, some may end up at Cosford

Do the Vulcan and Victor share a main wheel design? If so it shows a surprising amount of forethought by the RAF.
Or More likely Avro and Handley Page (Remember them...) Were almost singing from the same design sheet and used the same supplier perhaps.

Re: Vulcan XH558 to leave Doncaster, possible ferry flight

Somewhat ironic that today Manchester was deemed to be the worst airport in the UK...

I hope someone in Peel takes note.....

I doubt it.....

Re: Vulcan XH558 to leave Doncaster, possible ferry flight

West Lindsay District Council has plans for buying Scampton. It falls inside WLDC. The plan includes retention of the runway and setting up a museum, hotels etc. It doesn't mention bulldozing the entire site and building a sqillion shoebox houses on it. It remains to be seen if they will expand on t...

Well it clearly wasn't totally broken... But as said before, it is rather keen on warm hangars ...

I would assume the retirement of Tranche 1 jets may well get put on hold.. Despite them only putting C-130J retirement back a few months ...

Its all very good selling mygs and t shirts, although I doubt that raised a lot... But I don't recall GJD, Jet Art or anyone else doing sponsored walks to raise funds to buy airframes.

Nice try..

Stick to paper aeroplanes maybe ...

Not before time. It amazes me how other groups and museums have sorted themselves and acquired, moved or disposed to others airframes since 2017. Even in the few years since then, SWAM, and Morayavia have appeared and done well. Jet Art and GJD have helped others in that time as well... Stick to spo...

So do you work for Hangar 51?

Re: ZA718 Bravo November.

Not sure what you can stick in the rumoured Falklands aircraft display in Hangar 1. As the Vulcan and Victor are firmly stuck in the Cold War building As for BN, yes it has been on the cards for a longtime Mike, although the press release now says acquired.... I think basically that all the MoD airf...
