Re: Bomber Command Memorial: Coverage Thread

Just watched it from the front of a very sunny Palace - lovely sight as the Tornados flew through followed by the Lancaster - the Poppies made quite a cloud of red as they fluttered down. A lovely tribute for a well overdue memorial.

Re: Queens Birthday Flypast

Thanks for the comments guys Yes it was nice to see them, it's always difficult to predict which side of the A-12 they will travel down, and thankfully the last couple of times has meant them coming pretty much straight over the house. It certainly makes doing the garden a fair bit less of a chore! ...

Queens Birthday Flypast

Hi I was lucky enough to have the flypast go right over my garden, and whilst I'm very much an infrequent poster, thought that it would be nice to share some shots from the north side of Colchester (not normally a Military Jet flying area). Re: Rougham LMA 2/5/09

Excellent shots, of an enjoyable day - if I ever get some time I will post some of my efforts.

Pity to see the Bronco on it's side - couldn't believe the size of the model, and lovely detail, as there was on all the models there - the Swordfish was especially realistic.

Thanks for sharing

Re: Airliners.Net

Fancy that - you get a nice Yak coming your way, you get it set up in the viewfinder and one of those blasted Beluga's comes and gets into the shot completely obscuring the Yak - surprised they let that through. Lucky the camera was able to re-focus on the Beluga and save the shot. Quite a good catc...

Re: Leuchars 2008 arrivals - Happy Buff Day

Like the first pic - not seen it turning like that many times before - well caught.

Gutted I cannot be up there considering it's been such a :blinky: year weather wise and I'm short on good airshow noise!

Enjoy the weekend

Re: Shoreham

Thanks for the kind comments - The Cranes were especially photogenic and it was difficult to pick one out to post. I still seem to be having hosting problems, so have tried out a different host. If this works, I will re-post the originals. http://i410.photobucket.com/albums/pp182/JonMoon69/shoreham2...

Re: Shoreham

Just tried to upload some more, and the server seems to be down - sorry for that, they are obviously having issues over at Geocities - probably a good advert for UKAR images, which I will be joining when I have a couple of moments to register!!

Re: Shoreham

Thanks Cyberspace, I was there Saturday, it was nice to see some sun for a change. Thought I should try the new kit out, bought essentially to replace a camcorder that went tech on me just before XH558 flew on the Saturday at Waddington - how frustrating was that! I will have a look through my other...

Re: Shoreham

Hi

I'm keen to get this sorted, and I can see the images both at home and at work - could I ask what you do see so I can try and track it down, or is it just completely blank?

Cheers
