Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.
Levels of coronavirus infections in the UK have continued to fall, Office for National Statistics data shows. The figures, for the seven days up to 26 February, reveal around 280,000 people in the community with the virus. It suggests that the number infected has fallen by about a third in the most...

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.
Even the most enthusiastic Lockdowners that I know have broken the law in some way over the past year. Two in five over-80s have broken lockdown rules by meeting up with others indoors after getting vaccinated against Covid, figures suggest. Office for National Statistics polling data released toda...

With the furlough scheme extended to September, that date would be around the start of Lockdown 4.0 then.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/explainers-52634739The UK's coronavirus alert level is going down to four. It means the risk of the NHS being overwhelmed in the coming weeks has fallen.

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.
See spotting in itself may not be ok, but going for a walk around an airfield or airport anywhere in England as part of excercise with a camera around your neck would be legal. I'd suggest sitting on the end of a runway with a camera and your butties wouldn't be legal. I suppose it's no different t...

So after the last lockdown, what were the Duxford showcase days or Old Warden air shows if they were not mass gatherings of people.

Looking like the largest Airfix model you could possibly imagine, parts of a World War Two Lancaster bomber are laid-out in a hangar waiting to be assembled. But this is not a toy. The pieces of wing, fuselage, bombs, machine guns and propeller blades are all real. The famous aircraft is three year...

Re: Duxford Festival 2021
So good you said it twice.
Duxford have enough based aircraft + Ultimate Warbirds from Sywell + Old Warden and other UK based aircraft to put on a show in June. RIAT relies heavily on foreign participation. I doubt Legends will have any warbirds from the continent due to quarantine restrictions.

I get my first jab next Friday and I'll be most disappointed if I don't hear Bill Gates talking to me in my head or be able to pick up 5G on my teeth.

Re: IWM Duxford Transferring Land Warfare Hall Contents to Pima?
There are well advanced plans for an aircraft manufacturing facility to the west of what is now the LWH: I know planning permission is in place, the firm are already housed on the site and think, but might be wrong, that the actual land belongs to one of the Cambridge colleges. If Land Warfare is to be demolished and the airliners moved there, does it in the long term raise the possibility of new hangarage being built for them? No. The airliners do not belong to IWM but DAS. When finished, the Victor will be going into AirSpace so Concorde, Comet and York which are owned ...
