Re: Interesting Internet
Sadly one of the pilots has left the team. I don't know why, but they certainly are not out in Greece with the others. The RAF is investigating the Red Arrows over allegations of drinking, it has emerged. Sources claim one pilot has been sent home from Greece, where the famous aerobatic display tea...

Makes you wonder what foreign governments that have bought 'modern' Russian military hardware are thinking of their choices now.

I had two or three visits to London during June last year and was using my shirt pocket friendly Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-RX100 M6 rather than my usual a6500 and interchangeable lens.

Re: Disappearing Props.
If you want to see the propellers make sure you shutter is around 1/1000 At that speed you end up with frozen prop blades. At Duxford I shoot at 1/350 to 1/400. If the images are Jpegs, then you are stuck with what you've got but in RAW and if I had a photo like that, I would move the exposure slid...

RAF Museum, Hendon - 28th April 2022 A few more record shots of the changes in H5 ‘War in the Air 1918-1980’’. One noticeable addition to H5 is the Me.163B-1a Komet/191614 which recently arrived from RAFM Cosford. A bit of re-jigging and movement of airframes have taken place since my last visit wi...

Re: War?
Does the Uk and many other European countries really want to be so reliant on the Chinese (far more so than it is on Russia)? I'm typing this on a keyboard that has 'Made in China' stamped on it, on a PC that has 'MiC' on it along with the mouse, drinking a cup of coffee from a kettle claiming to b...
