I'm on a flexi rate in an all electric flat, including two E7 storage heaters, and currently paying £48.35 a month. Over the years it's sometimes gone up and sometimes comes down but I've been paying my current rate for quite a while now. The amount builds up during the summer months and helps pay o...

Sunrise Around Tower Bridge ~ 13th January 2022 I reached Tower Wharf, the area between the Tower of London and the Thames, for the sunrise which was at 08.02. i don't know that I've ever seen a VC-10 in the air. About once a year a VC-10 from Brize would land at Finningley so the plastic Sargent's, sorry trainee Sargent loadmasters could have a look around. In the afternoon it took us civilians on a flight around the countryside. Flown to Cyprus and back...

SPITFIRE: Evolution Of An Icon Exhibition @ IWM Duxford.

Said to be the largest collection of Spitfires under one roof, the 12 airframes chronicle the evolution of the Spitfire from the Mk.1 up to a Mk.22 that’s just a little bit in-complete. JG891 is about the only Spitfire you can’t get a decent photo of as it’s stuck in a corner. The exhibition runs fr...
