Re: Interesting Internet
Scampton drone view showing Buccaneer, Phantom, Su-22 Fitter and Hunter. Is the hardstanding surrounding the old HHA sheds being used for temporary accomodation so they wanted these well out of the way? Seems an odd decision to vacuum pack them and leave them there. Is the Buccaneer in the process ...

Re: It's taken 73 years but the RAF have....
As the Beeb say "It is the first time the British military has downed another enemy aircraft since the Falklands War nearly 40 years ago." This may be a silly question, but do these drones ever carry defensive measures? Hopefully the pilot will be bought a drink or 2 tonight. Not many wit...

Re: It's taken 73 years but the RAF have....
I thought RAF got a good few in the Falklands or was that the Navy with the Harriers? Maybe the first 'enemy' but the first air to air 'kill' from the RAF in 73 years though, didn't they shoot down one of their own Phantoms in Germany? They were flying Sea Harriers so the Navy claimed the kills. Th...

Re: DB Cooper Hijacking Programme
One mystery is why none of the money was found in circulation. That led to the claims that the hi-jacker never survived the parachute jump. If he survived he may have had seconds thoughts after realising that the serials were recorded? One investigator in 2020 is offering a $25,000 Reward Offered fo...

Re: DB Cooper Hijacking Programme
Thoroughly enjoyed this - beautifully shot and at the end the filmmaker basically told you what he thinks happened without telling you directly - ie there is a body out there in the Oregon wilderness with £200K next to it! TT Some $5,800 of that $200,000 was found in 1980. It was unearthed on a riv...

So likely 2 x Tu-142s. Sending figure messages back to control. Voyager ZZ336 currently over the North Sea. https:/...
