Streffo123, That’s just the point, the organisers know full well that it’s a non starter. They are the ones who are stringing you along. These aren’t silly conclusions, they are based on reality and reason. I can understand why you are upset though, your use of language (dreams being crushed) illus...

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

Similar to BMRiders post above, Its strange how for a while now there's been lots of discussions about working from home and not mingling in pubs etc, yet my work seem so slow to actually announce or say what the plans are and I have contact with way more people at work than if I'm in my local pub!!...

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

Any teachers on here? I know that among the bigger picture of serious illness, or death, in the general population that this may seem trivial but I'm wondering what the effect of 16 week closure of schools/universities etc will have on student exams (and the corresponding entry to six forms/college...

Re: RIAT 2020

Begging for a Belgian F-16? World's gone mad. Something that has been to almost every RIAT since when? Its very good , granted, and its already self-confirmed, so should appear at some point. Next up pleading for the Jordanian Falcons, aching for the RAF Typhoon? Crying out for the RAFAT Red Arrows??

Re: Will air shows be cancelled because of coronavirus

The news certainly aren't helping with the panicking, completely misleading people a couple of times. 1 when they said a patient had died of the virus yet further along it said was still awaiting test results to confirm it. 2nd they just said 2 more died of the virus IN the UK yet in the story it sa...

Smart watch help

Hi all,

I'm after some recommendations for a good mid budget (£100 ish) android smartwatch. Doesn't need to be to heavy in the fitness features area, just a pedometer would be fine. But need to answer calls and texts.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Nice to see a Wildcat flying, but I have to say last year’s wasn’t the most inspiring display.

Bring back the Black Cats, always thought they were superb.

Not as epic as the 2 Sea Harriers doing a Black Cat esque display!

Re: RIAT 2020

I wonder if their decision to do this is to get more people down that end of the airfield as the middle to east parts are now all clogged up with loads of enclosures and any clear part of viewing is completely chokka block very early.

We stumbled across Friday Night Dinner on Netflix over Christmas, having just finished watching all available series on Netflix and 4OD, I have to say it's the funniest thing I've seen in ages! Re: Aircraft seen randomly at unexpected but most welcome ti

One of my early airshow memories was a families day at the Rolls-Royce plant at Leavesden (early 80's), the Red Arrows was transiting from another show (no idea where) heard the show was happening and decided they wanted to take part with a few flypasts - was brilliant to see!

Re: RIAT 2020

No snowbirds either Snowbirds don't have the range to come to the UK. If the range of the CT-114 is 944 miles, which apparently it is, then they could get from Narsarsuaq to Reykjavik (770 miles) and then from Reykjavik to Prestwick (842 miles). Assuming they can fly from somewhere in Canada to Nar...
