Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

Shutting the pubs/restaurants earlier will make no difference at all other than a bad one where they'll be more people leaving at closing time and heading to public transport, whereas if open til the early hours there is a staggered going home of people.

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

Problem there is the police dishing out fines.

I know a few people who have reported Covid failures (1 "event" saw several people report it) and the police are not bothered and don't show up.

Again what's the difference between closing bars etc at 10pm and 11pm??

No clue Boris or Sirob we should call him as he goes back on every decision he makes, use public transport don't use public transport, let's get you back to work don't go back to work.

Really decent piece in the BBC today: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-54228649 When the dust has settled, if it ever does, I hope Carl Heneghan is bought a couple of pints for being the voice of reason in all this. I saw that article this morning and thought it was the 1st sensible article for a ...

Re: Big jet TV YouTube channel

Just wondering but doesn't key worker status be confirmed by the company you work for??

I ask as Big Jet Live TV is a separate and registered company, so shouldn't the key worker letter come from that company instead of Reach PLC? As he is working on behalf of Big Jet TV and not Reach PLC?

Re: Battle of Britain Airshow 2020 - 18th-20th September.

Serious doubts this will go ahead now as gatherings of more than 6 to be banned from Monday. I mean they haven't changed the rules on weddings and such, just that you can't meet on groups of 6 or more. You could argue it's no different to going to the park but it would mean breaking groups up. Whet...

Re: Vintage Air Day Sun 6th Sep

Have to admit - limiting the car people to just 2 now and charging £20 a head for any others is now really expensive and kind of an insult. Like I said, £23.33 a head for 3 in a car. Measured against what is that 'really expensive' for an airshow? Well - it doesnt state on the website either about ...
