That post says nothing about debut display, just debut at Shuttleworth. So perhaps this was the first show they wanted it at.

Re: Flying Legends 2023 - 15-16 July - Leeds East/Church Fenton

By repute there were around 3-4000 a day compared to the 10-15000 they were aiming for so no, my understanding is it made a considerable loss. Be interesting to see whether they plan one for 2024 and when. Meantimes other shows may emerge.... TT No surprise. The big demand for an airshow up there i...

Always a decent show at OB and it has really grown in recent years. Price rise meant I gave it a miss this year, the only negative is that Ken 'Exceptional' Ellis is a bit annoying on commentary. And his jokes are recycled year on year!
That's why I missed it this year, the price rise.

Ok - My views on RIAT 2023, only attended the sunday, Access in to and out of Blue was ok, The 100% bag search was nonsense as not everyone was being searched or having their bag searched, myself included! even when I hovered around for a split second expecting them to search it. The Saab Sk60 was a...

My mate asked this year and you can’t just turn up with your watch these days. They said it was “invite only” but how you get an invite I don’t know. Perhaps an email to their customer support or marketing dept would be a start That's what I had heard, that you had to get in contact with someone fi...

This might be apocryphal, but I always thought that you rock up wearing your Breitling and that's your entry pass. Quite a thing to be given by the way. I have recently obtained a Breitling from my best mates late dad who passed recently and am wondering how the enclosure works?

Would probably add 60th season of the Red Arrows for 2024 Hmmm, after the embarrassing asymmetrical display on Saturday with only 7 jets, the well documented issues last year and, in my opinion, being a clear 4th best of the jet teams on display this weekend - and that’s without the Frecce, the Patr...

what is a viewing village PREMIUM grandstand seat as opposed to a normal seat. How is that garden tickets are more than grandstand tickets when grandstand users have the run of the garden anyway

Apart from the Buchon and Fokker Dr.I, every type listed is either American-built or was used by the Americans.
yeah you're right, looking at that list again. My brain doesn't work properly anymore and just picked up on a few things not the whole.

For anyone that hasn't seen, the American Flying Day looks fantastic!
Most of that list aren't Americans. Or are Duxford doing there usual loosest connection possible route to participants.
