That post says nothing about debut display, just debut at Shuttleworth. So perhaps this was the first show they wanted it at.

Re: Flying Legends 2023 - 15-16 July - Leeds East/Church Fenton
By repute there were around 3-4000 a day compared to the 10-15000 they were aiming for so no, my understanding is it made a considerable loss. Be interesting to see whether they plan one for 2024 and when. Meantimes other shows may emerge.... TT No surprise. The big demand for an airshow up there i...

Re: RIAT 2023 Discuss everything thread
Ok - My views on RIAT 2023, only attended the sunday, Access in to and out of Blue was ok, The 100% bag search was nonsense as not everyone was being searched or having their bag searched, myself included! even when I hovered around for a split second expecting them to search it. The Saab Sk60 was a...

Re: Breitling Enclosure
My mate asked this year and you can’t just turn up with your watch these days. They said it was “invite only” but how you get an invite I don’t know. Perhaps an email to their customer support or marketing dept would be a start That's what I had heard, that you had to get in contact with someone fi...

Have had the honour of riding on the Flying Scotsman and the Sir Nigel Gresley, just wish I could see the Mallard in action as that was my grandads favourite train!

Re: Breitling Enclosure
This might be apocryphal, but I always thought that you rock up wearing your Breitling and that's your entry pass. Quite a thing to be given by the way. We were looking at the new ones in the Breitling tent, they're not a cheap watch option!! Hi CJS, I wasn't sure on if it worked that way as I saw ...

Does anyone know how it works in gaining entry and what you get to this enclosure?
I have recently obtained a Breitling from my best mates late dad who passed recently and am wondering how the enclosure works?

Re: RIAT 2024 - discuss most things thread
Would probably add 60th season of the Red Arrows for 2024 On that subject, does anyone know how many airworthy Gnats there are in the UK these days? Wikipedia says 4 - but it's wikipedia! A Yellowjack and Red Arrows Gnat flying in formation with the current Reds would be well worth seeing. It was n...

Re: RIAT 2024 - discuss most things thread
Would probably add 60th season of the Red Arrows for 2024 Hmmm, after the embarrassing asymmetrical display on Saturday with only 7 jets, the well documented issues last year and, in my opinion, being a clear 4th best of the jet teams on display this weekend - and that’s without the Frecce, the Patr...

Went to RIAT for the first time this year, even though we are local. Went on the Friday and absolutely loved it even though we got soaked though. Already bought tickets for P&V for Wed, Thurs & Monday. Waiting to see if I can convince the other half to do 2 days next year. We were in the Vi...

Well, we at least waited until after the 2023 show to start the 2024 thread, but here ya go... 19-21 July 2024 50 years of the F-16 More importantly, 70 years since the first flight of the Jet Provost... 'Ticket upgrades selling fast' apparently, and super-duper-wuper early bird tickets now on sale...

Most of that list aren't Americans. Or are Duxford doing there usual loosest connection possible route to participants.Ryan. wrote: ↑Sun 16 Jul 2023, 10:15 pmhttps://www.iwm.org.uk/airshows/events/ ... ng-day-one
