Hi,
The other museum is located at Medyn, Kaluga region, south west of Moscow. Located at the southern most part of the village when looking at the map.
Not sure if open yet....

Hi,
Whilst the airshow may still go ahead, I have seen talk of the expected TLP course being cancelled due to other events namely Tiger Meet & Frisian Flag.
Best keep an eye on here too.

I had considered this, but thought UKAR is hardly any sort of officialdom.
Its more a collective based around gonzo or citizen journalism.

Nothing worse than being out and hearing 'UKAR' being said as if its a word....
It makes me think of the chav version of Fighter Control.

Its just a legal paperwork exercise, the structure of the company was changed sometime ago.
This is the final part of the process.
Nothing to fear...

HI, I visited the Patriot Park museum last year, the day before it was officially opened. Unfortunately cannot comment to much on the opening, prices, getting to & from as all this was still being arranged, access at the time was as a result of the Army 2016, so they had pre-arranged shuttle bus...

Hi,
For those still waiting/wondering, I applied around 23:00 on Thursday evening and just received confirmation around 15:00 Saturday, No.117. as Sam said... now to sort the logistics of getting there sorted. Looks to be relatively straight forward.
Cheers

Anything is possible in Russia Its being pushed by UAC & Ministry of Trade, 60% of signed up & paid exhibitors support the change, documents are now with the government waiting to be signed. Army 2017 at Kubinka is also going to be much bigger is one of the reasons, UAC and its members woul...

Hi all, I can confirm all went fairly well,Sam had a great time......He will miss it for sure! So, great weather, great ho...

Hi, Not conclusive proof of ZD319 being the only harrier to fire 'live'. I was on annual camp at RAF Valley August '87 the week after their air show, 74Sqn was on APC with their F-4J (UK)'s. At VAS we had to accept a Harrier GR5 (ZD319) which had been out on the ranges as an emergency. Upon landing ...

Well, It seems its down to case of 'not what you've got, its how you use it'. If anyone didn't come prepared for all eventualities then you only have your selves to blame. I've attended all but two night shoots and have never felt the need to criticize or have an opinion on a single one, other than ...

Hi, Have attended many MAKS now and can confirm the fences are close & tall, luckily easy to stick a lens through, for the larger types walking around the back offers a better side on view and they only have rope there to contend with. a lovely example of the fencing....... http://i13.photobucke...

Re: Russia suspends Tu-95 flights after accident 8th June 20
Apparently the latest accident was as a result of flying through a storm cell which caused three of the four engines to fail, a second aircraft in the formation also lost one engine as a result of hale/icing at around 5'000ft All crew bailed out at around 3'500ft. The pilot landed in a swamp and dro...
