Fantastic to see Marinell back in the UK and unless I am very much mistaken at Duxford for the first time.
I look forward to getting up close to her again soon.

Re: AF Flight Test Centre - Edwards AFB - more pics added
It is a lot more difficult these days, you have to apply for a place on the monthly coach tour which you get on at the gate. Sadly you can't take cameras or phones so sadly I don't have any pics from my visit last month.
Well worth it if you get the chance.

It was a different P2 which was damaged by vandals after the forced landing, G-BJAX was withdrawn from use in the mid 90s and following a few ownership changes was last seen in Germany with Meier Motors as a source of spares. The RCAF Harvard was damaged at Little Gransden and subsequently rebuilt b...

N11SN donated it's engine and other bits to G-IYAK when it was made to look like a Yak3. This is the aircraft that lost its wing at Wanaka this year

Re: B-1B at Oshkosh TWILIGHT afterburners
It was a fantastic display, the ultra light was one of the paraglider things that was part of the next act, he took off from the ultralight strip and flew over the crowd towards the display line. Shame it resulted in the B1 cutting its display short.

Photo Editing Platform Advice
Over the years I have taken thousands of photos, however other than storing them away I have done very little with them.
Over recent weeks I have been thinking about doing something with them and wondered what the prefered platform (Mac or PC) is to start editing them a little?

Re: Photos of the LAST airshow I shall ever attend!
RIAT and Old Warden are still worth while. Nice pictures but not the most exciting participation! To be fair Seething is a local charity event which attracted 2 Spitfire, a Hawker Nimrod, a P51 Mustang, a number of other vintage aircraft together with some aerobatics to entertain. Doesn't sound a b...

Yes, N4712V Open days are 3rd Sunday of the month May to October. The hangar is generally open from 11/11.30. There are some excellent interactive exhibits in there. Whilst there is no planned flying at these open days, if the weather plays ball and the aircraft (and pilots) are serviceable then one...

Canon 7D Mk2 CF Card Recommendations
Hi, I have recently bought a 7D Mk2 and need to get a CF card. I was wondering what those who have experience of this sort of thing would recommend in terms of: Make Best Capacity Speed Anything else I should bear in mind I am mostly using it for still photos, but may try a bit of video. Many Thanks

Canon 7D MkII
Hi,
I have been thinking for a while about buying a second body to go alongside my Canon 60D. I had initially considered the 70D but am leaning towards the 7D MkII and was wondering whether anyone else had experience of these and their various merits.
Many Thanks

Canon 70d vs 60d
I am seriously considering getting a Canon 70d to partner the 60d I have and replacing a 500d. My question I suppose is how in practical terms does the 70d compare to the 60d? I have read all the bits on the Web regarding spec, but just wondered whether anyone had experience of the two? In terms of ...
