Interesting but don't think it was that, I checked Flightradar24 at the time and nothing was showing so guessed whatever it is was a military type!

Re: Sunday rhymes with grey, it must be RIAT 2016!

Rhymes was closed as a result of the CAA rules, so in effect you were in a naughty place! Great shots though! I saw that weather approaching on the Sunday evening and decided to forget about another static walk and headed straight for the car, which after 20 minutes was proved to be the a good move!

Re: F-35 NOTAM for Monday

Re: RIAT from Rhymes...

Good people, you seem to be missing the point hear RIAT or any other show for that matter haven't the power to stop private land owners from using their respective land as they see fit, sure they can advise, recommend even threaten to some extent but at the end of the day the decision rests with the ...

Re: RIAT from Rhymes...

I expect any loss by private campsites would be of no concern to RIAT, on the other hand how many people using the campsites buy tickets for the show? something for RIAT to consider I would think! But rules are rules and RIAT will have to comply the same as every other show!

Re: New CAA CAP 403 Display Regs Published

I use Rhymes every year on one day at least, the main attraction being the close proximity to the flying display above, yes it is great being able to shoot through the fence at taxiing planes, but I am now resigned to the fact that Rhymes days could be numbered, especially when reading the bit that ...
