Re: ITV Who Want's To Be A Millionaire!!
Other than the occasional Pointless & the Chase, the only other quiz I listened to regularly was Popmaster on BBC Radio 2. Not tuned in for a year or so though. Liked Pointless because you really have to know your stuff if you're to get an answer that's least likely to be picked, or that no one else...

Re: Listening Media
Thanks for the suggestion. 🙂 That could work, but for all the hassle, I'd be just as well plugging the portable CD player directly into the car. I'd still be interested to know about the newer players though - a lot of them are coming with Bluetooth as standard too, again probably because everything...

Listening Media
Nowadays, because most things are streamed, including music, a lot of newer cars don't have a CD player, instead they've been replaced by USB ports. I've seen there are portable music players available with both USB & CD, but what I want to know is is there a standalone one with compatibility to tra...

Some voters are being put in impossible position. The decision was huge with huge long term implications (none of us have a chystal ball). To make the decision purely in the present without trying to at least consider the future ramifications of the choice seems shallow to me. And yet, not even a m...

No fresh snowfall in Edinburgh since Thursday, some areas still have a few inches of the stuff lying. It was a lovely crisp -7 this morning too.

Re: Movies!
I watched Die Hard (again) but, this time, trying to introduce my sons to the era of 80s classics. Watching their reaction was very interesting. For the first 10 mins, they were on their phones or ready to evacuate to the den to play Fifa on the Xbox. But then, the rear doors of the van open and we...

24/7 would be handy for those such as keyworkers who provide round the clock cover such as the Emergency Services. Not everyone works days.

Should have been a blanket ban.
Saying the man is too dangerous to hold a FB account but to give access to Twitter makes no sense at all.
