The plans have been reactivated, causing a stoochie locally with the intended felling of some trees.

Re: Air France Breguet 763 Provence, Toussus-le-Noble, France.
I mind the only Air France Deux Ponts, that I seen at Hearthrow in the early 70s.. I was going to ask if any survive, then I found out for myself. Three! Surviving aircraft Br.763 Provence c/n 6, F-BASS of Air France is used as restaurant at Fontenay-Trésigny, France. Br.765 Sahara c/n 501, 64-PE of...

2022 Lakeland or Oshkosh?
2022, I'm not considering going far this year, so I'm dreaming about better times in '22... So how does Sun 'n Fun compare to Airventure? I've been to Oshkosh twice and is a very hard act to beat but have an open mind about going somewhere different. The last thread about Lakeland on this forum was ...

Scone 17 Dec night and day
A lot of posts from me hopefully to counteract the dearth of posts from other forum members that are suffering from lockdown withdrawal symptoms. My photo B-Log. A trip to Scone more in the hope than anything else plus the half hope of the bonus of some night flying and night photo therapy as well. ...

Re: Berlin-Gatow - December 2019
Gatow is one of my favourite museums, thanks for rekindling the memories once more. I'd go back again given the chance.
It did also strike me of the presence of the Swastikas on the WW2 aircraft and the exceptions to historical accuracy by the German authorities.

Scone 27 Nov 20, winter sunshine
Today's B-log The second time this week I have made the two hour drive from my Dad's house direct to Perth. It's beginning to get to be a habit that I don't want but Saturday looked like being the best day of the weekend and I had to make the trip. Having a stroke victim of a father isn't much fun a...

Re: Photoshop and other with sky change software.
I had the opportunity to make a presentation to my local camera club last night on the Photoshop Sky Replacement tool and it raised some points that is worth sharing. The Tool comes with a set number of skies, you can add your own as the default ones will become very hackneyed to the discerning view...

Re: Photoshop and other with sky change software.
Composite photos are nothing new, however I am fundamentally with the previous posters. The likes of Luminar and it's fantastic sky replacement tool is just not "natural" enough for me, if it needs be, I don't mind dodging and burning a sky that was there when the photo was taken. Anyway, at the end...

Re: Scone 17 Oct 20
Scone (Skoon) or Perth Airport, is the largest GA field in Scotland, with three runways to play with; two hard and one grass, which is usually unavailable in the winter due to waterlogging.

Re: Flickr today
A short period of unavailability, which to be honest does not happen all that often...apart from the occasional Bad Panda episode. I was wondering thought, what I'd do if I'd sunk all my efforts into a personal web site and what I would do if it went down. The answer is, there's not that much I coul...

I was gutted when I took the phone call saying they were going to Dundee instead of Perth. Ah well you win some, you loose some.
Nice set of pictures Baz...and nice to see things with aluminium wings instead of feathers for a change!

Perth NHS Spitfire Content into context
How to put the content into the context and not end up with the photo of the underside of a Spitfire with no relation to where it was taken... and this one was a failure. I guessed rightly the route but I cocked up on the timing and the composition, still, it's an interesting failure. For the record...
