Re: BBC Planespotting live....
Methinks you are white knighting for no reason. If you bothered being objective you'll find that it backs up what 'CatB' wrote, when she posted : And if you’ve never seen a 4 engine aircraft leave two trails, you truly need to get some time in. The aircraft itself looked like a 4 engine aircraft on...

Re: BBC Planespotting live....
I'm going to disagree with you. If something/someone holds itself out to be a factual programme, which this was, regardless of how "lighthearted" it is supposed to be, one would expect the facts to be right. If they had got the simple stuff right, it could have still be lighthearted. You ...

Re: BBC Planespotting live....
I don't post on here anymore but wanted to on this occasion. A lot of people on here are showing themselves up and getting out of their cage and out of shape moaning over a programme that was a general lighthearted look at the aviation world. The vast majority of people that viewed the show wouldn't...

My Landscape photography trip to Iceland

Here's our tour in photos - apologies for the sheer volume of shots - it's by far the most photogenic country I've visited! The first full day started on the southern edge of ...

All of them are beautiful. Gorgeous subject and backdrops. I love the angle on the first shot from the second set in particular. Great you got sunshine to go with it! Glad you enjoyed your flight!

Re: Any guidance regarding Spitfire formation flights
I've done 2 with the HAC Spit, 1 with MH434, one with the old HAC Hurricane and 1 in the Dove with TD314 - and I use a rubber lens hood. This cut out nearly all reflections for me. Normannis is spot on with the camera settings - I got a few first off at about 1/250 to be a bit safer, then went lower...
