Dutch Rotary Action

A week off work after 5 weeks of photos of helis in the heat, and I choose to spend it taking photos of helis in the cold. At least the Royal Netherlands Air Force put on a good show during my time getting blasted by the wind. https://c2.staticflickr.com/6/5340/17541300298_65eb1f130f_o.jpg Gunner Wa...

Thanks guys.
Luke it's from the Brown Hill tower inside the range. Lynx and other rotary assets use the range for air door gunnery shoots.

Great set Peter from a fantastic location. I could've quite easily spent my whole 3 weeks there when I was in California.

Jealous you caught the harrier. I thought I missed one while I was there after I went down to Panamint Springs late afternoon. I keep telling myself it was an F-16 to make me feel better. Would love to see the rest!

Cheers guys. Great set Duane, really pleased you had a good 2 days with plenty of traffic. 28 passes must be a record, never heard of anyone seeing that many. Nice to see one of the NASA jets do another overshoot, maybe one day they will drop in. Tim Tim, I didn't expect anywhere near 28 passes on d...

Rainbow Canyon

So after seeing one or two posts from the canyon in the past I thought I'd try my luck with, pretty much my first FJ low level location shoot during a 3 week visit to California. I have been to my once local Dunmail in the past when I first started digital photography, but generally pulled a blank w...

EOS 50D, Firmware Version 1.0.9 Update and UDMA7 CF Cards

Hi all, I'm looking to getting a larger capacity CF card. The majority of the cards with the correct GB to their name that I look at all appear to be UDMA 7. Although I've been shooting for a while, the term UDMA has never really been something I've needed to get my head around when I bought the CF ...
