Re: Aircraft in the movies...Black Widow

What's the old saying, "The camera never lies"? Looks can be deceptive, lots of work currently underway on the MiG-27 & perhaps soon on the MiG-23 - some of it is featured in here http://www.newarkairmuseum.org/2021_Work_Gallery When the right volunteers are on site we may have open cockpit viewing ...

Re: Aircraft in the movies...Black Widow

Shame that one of the Hungarian Mi-8s wasn't saved, would have looked very nice alongside the two fast-jets. Obviously plenty of other considerations as to why you didn't take it though, of course. Numerous reasons spring to mind: the airframe that were offered didn't fit with our Collecting Policy...

Re: Aircraft in the movies...Black Widow

I acted as the liaison f...

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

The Pfizer situation may be a regional issue - yesterday across Nottingham / Nottinghamshire walk-in appointments were being notified via the local radio stations; plus there was a campaign to assist with the low uptake and vaccine hesitancy in some areas of the city. Also worth a read is this BBC a...

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

As ever we seem to go off at tangents to suit individual agendas; the Guardian article does not single out masks, but references the wider control measures that have been used to tackle Covid. "The “immunity debt” phenomenon occurs because measures like lockdowns, hand-washing, social distancing and...
