Re: Old Warden, Spring Evening Airshow, 14th May 2011

An extremely poor set of photographs, the props are all blurry, it doesn't even look as if there is a prop in #3

Nice to see your getting the hang of it Tom. Fantastic selection as usual

Re: What lenses do you Nikon Guys use at airshows?

The 300 f4 is a very good lens and works extremely well with a x1.4tc. I've never used anything below 300mm for flying shots, its either my 300 f2.8 or 600 f4. The 70-200 would work well for taxi and static stuff.

Think you made the right choice Rob, nice to see something american that isn't an Osprey. Your shots seem to get better and better, this is a very nice set

Simply poor graphics, Microsoft Flight Sim 98 by the looks of it  I wouldn't go as far as to say it even looks like a fake photograph, not from where I'm sitting.

Some very nice shots here Rick, #1, #5 and #6 are faves

Could do with a few dust spots being removed from #4 and the last shots WB needs a tweak if I'm being picky.

Thanks for the comments.

#10 is the only true HDR shot in here. I'm afraid I'm not one for spending nearly £600 on my photo editing software only to use auto levels and the resize function
