I have checked the ticket links again today, and no...

Re: First Show on July 18

The 5m x 5m area will be interesting. My car is 4.9m long. Hopefully parked near some shorter cars.... That is just the space occupied by the car including open doors. It does not include the space that will be available to the occupants beside their car. If it was, that will be akin to normal park...

Re: Reds & Patrouille over Heathrow

Prince Charles is meeting President Macron at Clarence House not far the Buckinham Palace on the afterrnoon of 18-06-2020. If the formation goes in a straight line over Bagshot then over Richmond Park and onwards to Brentwood where they start to split up, the path takes the flypast over Clarence Hou...

Re: Reds & Patrouille over Heathrow

Should there not have been a NOTAM or Temporary Flight Restrictions published by now for the areas covered by the flypast?

I live quite close to Bagshot so I may go there to view it.

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

Interesting. The total number of Coranavirus cases reported that we had in the UK by the end of 19-05-2020 was 248,818 including 2,412 new cases but by the end of 20-05-2020 the reported figure came down to 248,293, a reduction of 525 cases. Pretty sure there should have been at least over thousand ...

Re: Will air shows be cancelled because of coronavirus

I'd hope that the more minor fly-in's will still be going ahead, Compton Abbas, Popham, Henstridge, (sadly Old Sarum is closed) etc., which are the only type of events that I tend to visit anyway these days. All the above mentioned airfields are closed until further notice per their own web sites. ...

Re: 2019 General Election

I actually thought that then Labour Government Strategic Defence review in 1988 was very refreshing which made some serious promises about the make up and size of the armed forces. Then due to cost pressures started to lop the defence budge to such an extent that none or very few of their promisses ...

Obviously the Spitfires but also the Mustang and Hawker Fury/Sea Fury formations and the displays of all of the others great as well. Just a few pictures for starter...

Paris - Villaroche Air Legend 07 and 08-09-2019

Fantastic airshow and I very much enjoyed both days, Varied displays including a nice clutch of classic jets and I was stunned by the formation between two Mustangs, a Dakota and the French aerobatic team, the Patrouille de France. The first day I was positioned at the very left end of the crowd lin...

Hi First time I have been to this show in quite a few years.
