That looked lovely and smooth George.
I've travelled and done some landings in a 747 whereby I thought the Stewardess had had a go at landing it!

What a great set of images to remember a real treat of a day.
Lovely colour and detail.
The inclusion of the OASC Building is great too, as I attended a challenging 4-days there which changed my life forever!

Had swifts and swallows over the Wolds at the new house.
Swallows low, fast with their terrain radar, Swifts high-up flashing round.
Great to see.

I read Monty's book earlier in the year. He devoted a chapter to each of his many dogs, almost as though gardening was a secondary theme, yet Nigel was a continual theme throughout. Sad loss, as those being a pet owner will know.

Interesting - yes Interested - No As a dedicated Canon user for some 30+ years, I've retained what I wanted through, and into DSLR spec. For my style and genre of photography, the 14-16 fps of the 1DX Mk2, coupled to the ISO handling for wildlife and sports is superb. The L series of glass gives a f...

Well, sadly after re-reading this thread and sensing the negativity shown, it's hardly surprising that there has been no interest or posting for 3 months from 17th Sep to 17th Dec. I fear in sum, it's done and dusted. A valiant attempt (see what I did there for the aviation theme)? Bury the thread /...

Fondly remember seeing these thundering through the hills during my years in Scotland.
I remember driving North along the old A9 when one roared directly over the car.
I'm unsure what shuddered the most, the car or me!
Great machine.
