Decent day out, early high cloud rapidly burnt off to a very pleasant sunny day. Nice to shoot an entire air force's inventory in the sun, moreover to shoot every front line asset in the form of the complete Rafale fleet lined up. I've just been online to the Shuttleworth and found that the tickets have jumped up to £42. That's a lot bearing in mind just how speculative the weather is. This will have to do more than shape up nicely for that. I'll check back later to see if it's worth the money. Well they have had to fork out...

Finnish AF have said Hornet will continue this year and Frecce have already reflown, albeit with reduced numbers.

Id love to know what these legislative arrangements are. Absolute nonsense I bet. I'm at a loss to see exactly who it benefits; certainly not the devoted airshow goers who go to pretty much every show and have done so for decades. Still, at least the Porsche owners had the best position, even though...

Officially confirmed no spotters day at KB or Beavechain so that's ruined Sanicole this year....

Well it's official, the French display Rafale is gorgeous.. So nice to see airborne CroatAF CL415 and Air Tractor too.

Well the superstitious among us would say that's the third in a run of bad luck and so no more....
Obviously regarding the European display scene at least...

It's been a pretty rough start to 2025, let's hope that's it now.....
That's 3 339s pretty much out of action for a while, possibly even write offs; I wonder how many they've got configured for team use?

Weirdly I have no shots of it in the static, just these 2, got everything else though.

Great stuff sir!! That really was quite the day, I shared these shots of the Viking being towed back with additional "panel lines" with one of the crew recently, he was amazed anyone had pics of it! That's him walking alongside, he did also mention chatting with RAF guys when the Phantom h...
