The Facebook gammon is NOT happy at the lack of flypasts today, apparently something about "it wouldn't have happened on VJ-Day" and stuff.

The state of some of those comments...embarrassing.

Re: Anyone been to Brands Hatch recently?

I visited Brands last year in October and as well as almost the whole GP loop being fenced (as per the link above) you can no-longer walk the path between Sheene Curve and Stirlings Bend up to Clearways.

It was bad enough trying to see through the fences let alone shoot through them.

Must be time to start the 2020 rumour? The Blues have an open date on RIAT weekend and the only other major show currently scheduled in the US on those dates is the Duluth Air & Aviation Expo , which the Thunderbirds are already confirmed for. Why don't the Navy Blue Angels and the Air Force Thu...

Re: RIAT 2018 discussion

Usually the F-35 would only make three passes prior to the Heritage Flight (there isn't a full 'display' yet) - so it would appear that the additional passes on the Friday were just improvised because the Spitfire and Mustang weren't present.
