Re: GOLDEN OLDIES UPDATED 1 DECEMBER 2021

Absolutely belting stuff, lovely processing as well, what scanner are you using?

Your years are all over the place, Hunters are 2001, Victor trailing at Fairford is 1985 etc, but to be honest who cares, brilliant memories.

Re: F-35 Ooops?

If true, I wonder if the people that were screaming about VttS being 'amateurs' and 'should be shut down', will be saying the same about the military? They should bin the F-35 worldwide, not only because of this", but also because of it's looks. Remember 'if it looks right, it flies ...

I’m going to go out on a limb and suggest Singapore. Noting their attendance and positive intentions at the virtual air tattoos.
A good call especially with the M346 based at Cazaux, shame they are incredibly dull compared to the A-4s but hey-ho.

Well aware of that, but NATO strangely is not a nation. If we get a Luxembourg Air Force A400M it will tie a loose end, but you can't have it both ways and add a new nation. 1 Algeria 2 Argentina 3 Australia 4 Austria 5 Belgium 6 Brazil 7 Bulgaria 8 Canada 9 Chile 10 Colombia 11 Croatia 12 Czechia (...

What did they get?
Luxembourg is already among the list of 56 by virtue of the NATO E-3s and 707s already attended.

As a start something a little different, the only two seat A-10 at Edwards AFB collection. the YA-10B, not ordered as they considered the A-10 straightforward enough to convert to without two seat trainers. It served the company as the A-10 N/AW demonstrator as well for the all weather night/adverse...

No need to apologise, the images are the priority and I have to say some of those have come out pretty darn good, especially shot on Orwo.

I'd love to have those Wessexes in my collection, cracking F-100 shot as well (that was Fairford 1997 - USAF 50th tribute).

A lovely selection of memories in there John, Blackbird at Farnborough looks very menacing, both that and the Airbus FBW would be Farnborough 1986 though. Also the Wessexes I believe would be earlier than 1988 at Yeovilton. I saw them in the assault in 1984, not sure if they were used after that yea...

48 Hours Photo Competition - Two of the same but different

Thinking caps on for this one guys and girls. I'm looking for a pair of winning photos of the same aircraft but it must look different in each of the pics. So plenty of warbirds to choose from if you want an easy way out or better still if you can find something in service and then in private hands....
