Not a criticism but i have worked in most of the hangars at Cosford due to my job and the lighting is more than adequate for the work that is carried out, maybe adjusting the ISO settings on your camera to compensate? The equipment around the aircraft is there for the trainees and health and saftey ...

Basically because we have 12-14 aircraft that can take fuel from a boom (and very rarely get refuelled from a 135 or KC10 unless in far off lands) compared to lots more that are probe equipped so makes more sense to have 2 and 3 point HDU fittings than 2 and a boom

Arrived April 92 from the "G" in the beginning when the manning was in it's infancy....you were invited! Didnt do "H"s until 95, then 1 in 3 in 6 didnt meet their reqirements? Back later. I arrived in March 92 after my 1st line course at Cottersmore when 20 Sqn were the last one...

As it's not current military shouldn't these pics be in the Warbirds or Golden Oldies section? They are no longer in service with the RAF or RN and never will be again.
