Re: Rio Olympics 2016 Thread

Womens' Triathlon was great, but surely, two people who train for 365 days a year, together, alongside and in the same team, live in the same house, but are two individuals, who have the same aim, can make a decision to challenge the only two people ahead of them keeping them from Gold and Silver. ...

Re: RAF Special Schemes

Lovely mock-up Dan, placement of the vertical stripes is spot-on. If they'd put them there it'd have been a perfectly reasonable minimalist scheme, looks a bit odd under the tail though.

As for 'dumbing down'.......just looked on their website for next year's "Showground attractions" : Legendary trials rider Martyn Ashton and pro mountain biker Blake Samson bringing the Animal WD-40 Action Sports Tour team to the 2014 Air Tattoo - they represent everything that is 'Adrena...

Re: Consistency?

No doubt ridiculous but unsurprising. I've been watching some cyclist helmet-cam footage on the Youtubes recently and it's shocking what some drivers get away with; forcing cyclists into the kerb, dangerous overtakes, attempted rammings and no police action taken! On the other side of it, how many ...

Fortunately for us the cognitively-challenged frakwits that try to do the same thing using the UKAR name are less creative, although equally as mental.

It's loud in helicopter-mode but is it that bad in fixed-wing? A quick pop up to allow a spiral descent from fixed-wing to helicopter must give less reaction time than a regular heli approach?

Re: Battlefield 3

So who's got the Armored Kill DLC? Alborz Mountain is a stunning map and has some nice sniping opportunities. That said I'm really enjoying the Stinger post-patch; sneak behind lines, wait for an enemy helo to approach close enough to allow two shots and you guaranteed at least a disable. Also fun i...

Re: Cad West 28th August - Mach Loop Part Deux

If you see a crew doing something they shouldn't then don't share the footage. Any sh1tstorm that follows from not obeying this rule is entirely the witnesses' fault and in no part the fault of the aircrew. I'm sorry but that's about the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen posted on this forum. Ju...

Real goosebump piece that. Only real problem with it is how often it's used, Kick Ass also features a version of it as "Strobe".

It is beautiful though.
