Re: FRIAT 2023 ticket increases discussion
I guess in the end the proof of the pudding will be in the eating. If DBH have got this right, then FRIAT will sell out again for 2023 and they can say the changes were justified. If FRIAT doesn't sell out (remember, it's choice to buy in to it) then they will - just from a purely business point of...

Re: FRIAT 2023 ticket increases discussion
Once you've experienced RIAT as a FRIAT member, you may be unlikely to want to go back to experiencing general admission - I wish I had done FRIAT right from my first attendance in the mid-1990s. I won't go back to standard admission. I'm too old for the scrum now. I've never done FRIAT, mostly bec...

Re: RIAT 2022 Discussion Thread
I wouldn’t say different was the right word  Would it really be that big of a miss when we’ve seen the same display for years on end? There’s always a chance it’ll return in future (French demo/perhaps Airbus) Depends on what way you look at it i guess, I go as a Family and the kids love ...

I was hoping to see this also , Something different.ThatDutchDude wrote: ↑Thu 30 Jun 2022, 12:34 pmJust a quick question,
Of course, the Airbus A400M from airbus themselfs has attended pretty much every RIAT since 2011, but does the team even still exist? As how far I've read and seen, RIAT 19 was their last show?

Re: RIAT 2022 Discussion Thread
Considering a lot of countries now Have F35s (Including uk) you would like to think we might see one in the air.
With USAF pulling the RIAT one off their list i guess our best bet is a Marham jet.
That said the line up is still great imo.

Re: RIAT 2022 Discussion Thread
Also I hope the flying display will be extended to end later, rather than to start sooner. When the sun has gone out of position, which is always a good move. They should put out an announcement saying what the new times are. I think I actually recall someone from DBH saying in 2018 that...

Re: RIAT 2022 Discussion Thread
Quite a few Display teams now or Demos which take a lot more slot time. At this rate i think they might have a problem with fitting everything in tbh. I used the approximate display times from what is available on youtube and got about 5 hours with only confirmed aircraft ( + TBC Czech gripen, Czec...

Re: Mach Loop Novice
I think the squadrons deployed to Poland/TLP are the SJ birds and the 493rd? I’ve not kept abreast of things, but I think the 492nd and 494th are both “home” and active as it were. I went up in early February and had a rubbish day - two passes from a Texan 😂 But others have had some absolutely ston...

Had loads of Apaches down this way of late( Essex).
Think the lack of Civvie aircraft that normally own the busy skies above us had helped.

ADSB Showed it as UR-82029.
