Re: Boris's plane
Both he and Liz Truss were at Balmoral today. Did they fly on the same aeroplane? No they didn’t…that would be a security issue, and a national embarrassment in the event of an accident. It's a national disgrace that they flew at all. Truss should have taken the train the evening before and Johnson...

Yes there are roadworks just before Sutton valance with the road being closed, tried 2 different routes and both had road closures for 1 reason or another.

Re: Headcorn Air Show
If you pay the gate price it's not worth it, it's spaced out with a few lovely fighters and lots of advertising on the commentary for aero legends which became boring. BBMF were good which wouldn't have been said years ago . Andy by leaving early you missed the 3 hurricanes and 3 spits taking off. G...

Re: Aero Legends / Headcorn Battle of Britain Airshow
I found it a bit disappointing the formation warbird stuff and I hate to say it was boring, the only time it came alive was when the 109 appeared and there was someone who knew how to do a display.... fast low and using the height available .
The BBMF display was good and the Dak.

The Airfield has a notam for closure on Thursday 17th Aug between 1400 local and 1500 local to
allow for the French Military Display team accreditation flight, so may be worth a look.

Some people seem to want Duxford to fail, but for me whatever form the display is, it would be a sad lose.

Re: Pentax K30 + Sigma 50-500 metering issues
This sounds a little like my problem. Did you send off to the manufacturer or just take it to your dealer? Can I ask what lens you are using and, could I also see some of your results just to compare? (Perhaps I am hoping for too much!) I still had a warranty left on it which just covered labour wh...

Re: Pentax K30 + Sigma 50-500 metering issues
Hi , I have a K30 which I've owned for 4 years , in the past 6 months it developed a problem with the aperture control on the body. The symptoms were that some shots were so under exposed that they were black. You could fix it temporally by shooting continuously and each shot would get brighter , I ...
