The aircraft is in for its scheduled maintenance overhaul which will require a complete strip and repaint, the cost is a total of £900,000 all in, it has already been budgeted for and is inline with planned works. The aircraft was due for a maintenance check and re-paint anyway, who's to say it will not just be vinyl's so that if the aircraft had to go into a hostile situation they can just peel them off.
