Re: Duxford Diary 2023
1 It’s not departing for Newark. 2 Blackjack is not out of hours. And why is it so important that it is preserved? Re: Duxford Battle of Britain Airshow 2022 - 10th & 11th September

I can't answer your question, 're the opening of the 'flig...

Histori aircraft servicing and the Corona virus?
With the currant situation are the ground crews able to carry out routine servicing to the historic aircraft and are pilots able to carry out air tests?

Following on from tomwards post above, maybe Duxman, DCW and Pen Pusher could post some images from their extensive archives to keep the Duxford fix active if the closure goes on for a long while.

Hi Blackbird, two good sources for info regarding Spitfire's are the Warbirds Registry or Geoff Goodhalls Aviation History Site.

Some nice images of great displays, as TonyC implies the RAF Museum could learn a bit from these displays as could the IWM, didn't Paul Raymond attempt something along these lines?

I don't think they'll be needing that after events earlier in the week. Wha...

Dud an, out of interest were your shots taken during the Battle of Britain filming taken during an airshow/open day or did you have access during filming?
