Re: RIAT 2019

I remember when there was a Mirage IV...so yeah it's ok for you to feel short changed, along with everyone else that can't see a Mirage IV.... :)

Re: Ticket request for Monday departures

I decided against doing the full show this year and was thinking that departures would be interesting as I haven't done the park and views before so I will also chance my arm and turn up on the day.

Really great set - it looks like they were taken by someone who enjoys the art of photography, rather than someone simply recording an event. I hope you are happy with them, because you should be!

Re: RIAT 2018 wishlist

I am very happy to see all displays, teams, solos, flypasts - you name it. I'm there for the aircraft and the skills on show. If I wanted to ask for anything I would very much like to see the Ukrainians again, if its possible to increase their presence with an Su25, Mig 29 or (and I would jump aroun...

I think you might have a double post of the second set. Regardless, I really like some of those. First Hornet shot is my favourite.

Re: Gassing up Growlers over Nevada

You made the best of that opportunity! Nice to see a RAF front seater on the Growler. More likely an Aussie, they use the same ranks and also have Growlers themselves. Nice shots, interesting that 41 where involved in Flag too. Good point! I was fixated on the RAF angle after seeing a RAF guy on F1...

Thank you guys!

I have ruled out flights at £400. Will sum up the cost of rail/drive as the eurostar is £168 today.

I would like to attend the Sanicole shows and the KB spotters day, however this would be the first time I would visit Belgium, and go to these shows. How are UK guys getting there? driving? train/hire car? flight/hire car? Is Brussels the closest international airport? Sorry for the questions, reall...

Is the sun really that terrible for flying display shots?

Can you shoot takeoff and landing as well as display or are they too far apart?

Cheesus H Kerrist.

Spluff, Carrots, Jelly. Shoot me now.

I had 'spluff' comments on some instagram photos. At first I was a little sick in my mouth, and then I cringed it back down.

Re: Couple of pics of George H.W. Bush and Hawkeye enquiry

Agreed, there are markings on top of the radome and that plus a little bit of light trickery makes it look like it's a different shape.

Thanks for the pics - I couldn't have made it down there even if I'd known a supercarrier was in, so it's good to see.
