It is a shame what the olympics are doing to the shows this year Thats why we at lowestoft had to move our show to june the first time ever in the history of the event.

Hi guys this years show will be on a weekend for the first time the dates are earlier than normal due to the olympic games it will be held on sat and sun June 23rd and 24th. We also have a new airshow director and planner an ex red arrow and harrier show pilot Tim Miller.

Hi heard this going into luton late last night with just the callsign Formula 1 he said the plane was a Falcon of some sort i was just wondering if it might have been bernie ecclestien head of F1 or maybe another racing driver etc any help appreciated it came in around midnight sunday.

Judging by the video footage on bbc news of the crash i think it would have been hard for him to eject as he was steering the plane away from houses and he was so low and fast i dont wish to speculate though but a very sad day.

My thoughts too i only met the guy 2 weeks ago such a nice fellow like all of the reds im shocked. Apparently i was told he steered the plane away from housing etc so in a way he gave his life to save others god rest his sole r.i.p .

Poor guys have really got it bad down there i thought lowestoft was bad last year. Still its only today and weather lookng good for the next 3 days good luck guys and at least you dont have to rely on bucket collections to keep the show going.

Poor really sadly it works out that 11% of people donated the 3 pounds still here is to next years show and i dare say no vulcan again or else there will be nothing else esp what you have to pay to see the triangle in the sky. WOuld rather have the support of the USAF Again and they are cheaper
