Re: 15th August - Magnificent Musical Flying Display

The "offering" was by no means substandard. The planned programme would have been well up to Shuttleworth's usual but the weather interfered. That was not Shuttleworth's fault and they should not be blamed.

Re: COVID-19: Your Thoughts and it's effects on you.

Since the pubs reopened, Wales seems to have been overrun by idiots who appear to have forgotten what's been happening the past 5 months. No doubt other parts of the UK are the same. There are a lot of people out there who are too stupid for words to describe. They haven't forgotten, they think "It...

Re: Anyone been to Brands Hatch recently?

Thanks for the replies. Having checked out those links and looked more closely at the Brands website (specifically their Covid-19 provisions such as closed paddocks etc,) I'm afraid that Brands have lost me as a spectator at least until after the Covid situation is resolved although once that is out...

Anyone been to Brands Hatch recently?

I am considering attending the Master's Historic race meeting at Brands Hatch in a couple of weeks and wondered if anyone on here has visited the circuit (especially the GP circuit) in the last year or so. I was unable to attend for the whole of last year's season (I usually buy a Season Pass for th...

Re: Bruntingthorpe Closure?

Take for example the Sea Vixen; now I recall about 10 or less years ago seeing one engine being run up. Sadly I think that’s as far as things got for one reason or another and it is just one of the many disappointments that we probably won’t ever see it fast taxy 😢 Then I must have been dreaming or...

Maybe the 10-day delay is to allow those who do not yet possess a mask to obtain one?

I have exactly the same issue. On top of that I found that the latest "update" for Microsoft Edge prevented me logging in to this site!. Cured that issue by using System Restore (which used to be so much easier to find than it is now) but still same issue with these tickets (one for me and one for a...

Re: Hotel at IWM Duxford?

The flying will be even more distant, no more topside passes round the M11 end and airspace. Looking at the layout of the airfield there seems to be no reason why the new hotel should have any effect on such passes. The aircraft will be no closer to it than they currently are to Arco or to Airspace.

Even the first few lines of the constitution of the United States are clearly rubbish... "All men are created equal"...Only applies to wealthy white Anglo-Saxon Protestants. Re: F1 ( and other motorsports ) 2020

People keep going on about how the old cars were so much better when in fact if a 1980s/90s car started a modern race in pole position it would be lapped by the entire field within about a dozen laps. Noise doesn't make a car faster, good engineering and set-up does.
