Re: Canon R7 hints and tips please

as I stated above anything lower than 1/320 and even then it's a high throw away rate.

I'm talking panning in the air shots - on the ground it seems ok

Thanks, SC. I clearly need to watch this. :worried:
only an issue if you like to use low shutter speeds while panning for prop aircraft - I know some don't care

this is the only issue I've found. Like I said I've never seen rolling shutter issues.

Re: Canon R7 hints and tips please

I've ditched my R7 and gone back to my old 90D and 100-400 combo - I can't live with shooting prop aircraft at 1/320 and faster when I'm used to 1/160 as a starting point to get lower. This is the only issue I've encountered, and not found any rolling shutter issues using first curtain electronic an...

Re: USS Gerald R Ford Timeline trip if you are quick!

Wow! That is disgraceful, the punter isn't being offered anything that they couldn't do themselves for a fraction of the cost with one of the tour companies at the harbour. I cannot believe people are actually going to pay that! I can do a flight in a Cessna with friends for less than that for aeri...

Re: RIAT 2022 Feedback and thoughts

I’d love to see a return of the arrivals days where things were allowed to properly bash the circuit for a little bit. It was great to see the Swedes have a missed approach each, but the majority of the circuits/approaches appeared to be no less than 500ft. Take me back to Turkish F-5 and Hellenic ...

Re: A380 heavy landing at Oshkosh

there is a background story to this... they had to use only part of the runway because they needed exit at the only turnoff on the runway - the turnoff at the end was block by parked aircraft and the runway is too narrow to turn the beast around. if they missed it would have to be tugged back to the...

Re: New 'Classic' Aircraft Illustrated

Well I like it. It blows Flypast (lost its way) and Aeroplane out of the water, so there obviously was a gap in the market there. I must admit I used to blow past at least half of the old AI articles but now it's taken a turn for better quality IMO. Bigger and better quaility is what I see, but the...
