notam map

For the last few days when going onto the Notam map site, all the notams are there, but the map of the UK has vanished. Is it me or is anyone else not seeing the map?

Personally, I think the problem is the airframe itself, as I don't feel it provides a suitable 'canvas' for special schemes
For me it's the canards. They seem to think because they're there, they have to paint them. Personally I would just leave them grey.

Re: The Angry Thread...

Watched a pair of smug barstewards on breakfast TV this morning, and how they had booked two holidays, one abroad, one in the UK, and were going to decide later which one to take and cancel the other. I got the impression the BBC reporter thought this was a great idea, but the feedback they got afte...

The A10's main landing gear is designed for a wheels up landing, should it occur.

Seem sensible, it's 2021 after all, the internet is accessible from more than just desktop terminals! Not if you only access it from one device. We don't all have a PC and laptop and tablet and a smart phone. I find it rather ironic that in this day and age, that companies that deal in communicatio...

Anybody else think that if Nicola Sturgeon offered to take NI as part of independence, Boris would bite her hand off? She wouldn't be that stupid, and would find it more amusing to watch BJ sort out the mess in N.Ireland. Unfortunately I see the blustering buffoon resigning as PM before the next el...

It was interesting to hear on the TV yesterday after that systemic racism report came out, that on at least 2 occasions I heard black/bame/people of colour/non white, use the term "white wash". I didn't hear any condemnation of the use of that term!

For review, read cuts. These things are always given a fancy title to make it sound good. I remember cameron's sdsr and all the cuts that came with that. It was called a review, and laid out our strategy. Then along came the Arab spring/Libya. Didn't see that one coming did they.

Well if they don't want it, I'll have it. Had my first one 3 weeks ago and would quite happily take my second after 3 weeks, rather than wait for twelve.

Not bad for a type they were going to withdraw from service a few years ago. Never seen one with the big sponson's, so hopefully if they ever come back over here to Carlisle, we'll get a chance to see one.

The Scottish Government were quite clear to the football clubs that they were being given a lot of leeway to have a football season this season. This is just the latest in a series of breaches, and personally I think the Scottish Government should now stop it altogether. If it means Rangers not bein...

Thanks for the info gamecock. "People are being encouraged to take leave in kingdom." I thought that might be the case. I don't know what it's like there now, but you couldn't go much beyond 50KM from where you worked without getting passes when I was there in the early 90's. A real pain, even when ...

Out in Saudi Arabia ... I was thinking about this the other day. I used to work in Saudi for BAe, and we used to get 3 weeks leave every 3 months, or so. I was wondering how they manage that now. I certainly wouldn't fancy spending 10 days in a isolation hotel every time I left and came back from l...

Fired my first rifles, .202, and a .303, (with the bruised shoulder to prove it). Wasn't a fan of the drill, but it helped me breeze through basic training when I joined the...

I see the blustering buffoon is visiting us in Scotland today. According to the weasel Gove, it's his right as prime minister to visit all parts of the UK. We all know this is to do with the referendum on Independence, but being given a cover story as covid related. I just wonder, when will the buff...
