Re: Malta Airshow
There is no information of where the static park will be.Usually at the airport. Getting very near the date and nothing about participant who will be flying or where the display will take placed. Not looking good.

Re: Malta 2017 Advice Please
Doesn't look very promising at the moment. We are now in March and the only information dates from January. Will be sad if nothing happens was usually a good show.

Re: Malta International Airshow 2016
We are well into August now. Only a few items confirrned. No major aerobatic teams. What has been the problem by now there is a full participation list. At this late point it doesn't look very promising.

Re: Malta International Airshow 2016
Have email the aviation society for information now nearly 10 days still no reply. Rumour is the show has been cancelled. No updates now since March on their web page. Can anybody shine any light on the situation. Usually at this point the participation list is well padded. Cheers

Re: Malta International Airshow 2014
Seems a bit strange that the aviation museum weren't asked if any of their flying aircraft would be prepared to participate. They weren't asked to participate last year either.

Re: Cosford 2012 - Your Feedback
No comments on the entry price of £25 per adult yes I know kids were free but consider last year a family 2 adults and 2 kids got in relatively cheaply and as someone who has attended this shows for a number of years attendance was down. Looking across the airfield there was lots of green that in pr...

Thought I heard some where the Sunderland was unlikely to fly again as all but one of its engines were siezed solid. Could be mistaken though.

Re: aviation museums in Malta
I thought the museum had all but given up any hope of the air frame going to them. Saw it the last time I was there its in a very bad state but the national museum is very reluctant to let her go. Seeing what the aviation museum is capable of ie the tiger moth it would make sense to send Faith to th...

Re: Cosford New Arrivals?
A major question is where will these large aircraft be positioned. Most of the available is space is already used up. These airframes would have to be under cover if not they will slowly rot away. If they are to go under cover where would that be, open space is at a premium on the site at the moment...
