Re: Battle of Britain Airshow 2020 - Cancelled

If the world was in a better place, I should be walking up and down the trade stands at Duxford right now on day one of the Battle of Britain airshow, on what looks like being a glorious weekend. :disappointed_relieved:

Cracking flypast in beautiful Belfast, loved seeing Red 10 banking and swooping around the team taking photos.

Re: Duxford Shows: 2020

I would be amazed if the show even goes ahead. I`ve been going to the September show since Leuchars folded, but not this year, I`m just not prepared to take the risk.

Re: Duxford Shows: 2020

I have to say I thinking exactly the same as Aardvark, until theres a cure large public gatherings are out of the question. If you look at sport nobody is expecting spectators to be allowed for a long time. Start saving for summer 2021.

Re: Portrush Airshow 2014

First and foremost a hearty congratulations on a super two days, new display line in my opinion was a MASSIVE success, difficult to find many faults, but one I have is please turn off the music on the PA during the aircraft displays, its the aircraft I come to watch and listen to.

Will the Red Arrows make it today, they had problems at Portrush on Saturday one aircraft went tech and another had a bird strike leaving a shortened display with 5 aircraft.
