With the arrival of their first F-16s, I'd like to see the Bulgarian MiG-29s and/or Su-25s before they're retired.

Yeah, it was good to watch and hear the comms too. Felt like a bit of an anti-climax as it just went through the sound barrier and absolutely nothing happened apart from the jump in the telemetry. I know nothing is supposed to happen but would have been nice to see a shock cone or something :laughing:

I have been to this Airshow several times, the last time in 2023. In my experience the security teams (generally just ordinary US Marines) are strict about the no camera bags/rucsacs. I purchased a clear bag ( shoulder beach bag) here in the UK and no problem with that and carrying 2 camera bodies ...

According to the Yuma Airshow Instagram account the F-22 is flying the heritage flight along with a P-38J and the Viper is displaying solo.

I went to Iwakuni last year and went through the vetting process there (and saw one chap being escorted out!), although we didn't have to wear lanyards.

Sad news about the show but it was of course, even worse to lose Richard Grace, and an understandable decision in the end.
