Re: JSDF 301squadron gone?

JASDF PAO just put this on twitter.

10am Japan Time 20th November on their YouTube channel.

Not sure but it might be a live stream of the final Phantom flights.

Re: JSDF 301squadron gone?

Past 2 weeks has seen a tour of Japan by the 2 special scheme jets. This finished on Tuesday from what I can gather from Japanese spotters. Haven’t seen a specific posting that the squadron has stopped flying yet, but they are due to stop before the end of the month. I think the test squadron at Gif...

Re: Microsoft Flight Simulator Returns

Getting my “Edtracker pro” to work, a sort of pseudo TrackIr device, has really increased the immersion factor, especially doing the Bush flight challenge from Croatia to Santorini, which I have flown about 1/2 the legs so far.

Re: Microsoft Flight Simulator Returns

I did my PPL training on a C152 just over 20 years ago in my early 20’s. For various reasons I never kept the licence current. Today I downloaded the standard version of the latest MS Flight Sim and had a play around with the C152. This was the first time I had used Flight Sim in years. Even on medi...

Re: F1 ( and other motorsports ) 2020

Speaking of Merc: Both Toto and Sir Jim Ratcliffe were coy at the Ineos sponsorship announcement the other day, however hints of Merc staying in F1, Toto close to new deal and new deal for Lewis. Personally can’t see a major sponsor signing up for 5 years if they weren’t sure those things were happe...

Wonder if they will have similar cooling issues to Mercedes last year who ran with an extremely tight aero package at the rear of the car.

First train from London arrives at 07:30. From those who have used the shuttle bus before, what sort of time could I expect to get to RIAT then if getting first train?

As the tickets are being sold through the IWM website and it is being advertised on their website, then it is a legitimate question to ask them.

Similarly, the Government can find 50-100 billion for HS2 (to serve London), but regional railways are starved of funding, with old rolling stock, rail stations that are in disrepair and terrible local connectivity. . While agreeing with much of what you said I have to point out that network rail t...

The Merc dominance continues. Ferrari brought new engine and aero upgrades to Barcelona, then were even further behind Merc who only brought aero upgrades. Once Gasly gets more comfortable, I could see Red Bull squeezing both Ferraris out the top 4 if things continue the way they are. Next up is Mon...

One of the largest newspapers in Scotland, the Sunday Mail (sister paper of the Daily Record and not to be confused with the Mail on Sunday) normally urge voters to vote Labour. Today on their front page, at the forthcoming EU elections they are urging voters to vote Green.
